SpeakMonk Technologies Private Limited ("SpeakMonk," "we," "us," or "our") operates SpeakMonk.ai and related services. We are registered in India. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, join our beta, or use SpeakMonk services.

We are building SpeakMonk in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP). This policy describes our current practices. It is not a claim of certification or complete compliance status.

Depending on how you use SpeakMonk, we may collect:

• Contact information, such as a parent's or school representative's name, email address, phone number, and school name.
• Learning and progress information generated while using the service, such as lesson activity, answers, and areas where support is needed.
• Technical and usage information, such as device, browser, pages viewed, and interaction events. We use analytics tools, including Firebase Analytics, to understand and improve our services.
• Messages or information you choose to send us through support or sales channels.

We use personal data to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve SpeakMonk.
• Process beta registrations and respond to enquiries.
• Provide learning experiences, progress reports, and human mentor support where applicable.

SpeakMonk is designed for school-age learners. A parent, guardian, or authorised school representative must provide any required consent before a child uses SpeakMonk. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will review the request.

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that help us host, operate, analyse, secure, or support SpeakMonk, but only for those purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users, SpeakMonk, or the public.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you (or a parent or guardian, where appropriate) may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete personal data, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

To make a request, email support@speakmonk.ai. We will verify the request and aim to complete verified deletion requests within 15 days, except where Indian law requires us to retain specific records for a limited period (for example, legal, security, or dispute-related obligations). We will confirm the outcome or explain what we retained and why.
