Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains refunds and cancellations for paid purchases made in the SpeakMonk app, operated by SpeakMonk Technologies Private Limited ("SpeakMonk," "we," "us," or "our"). It applies to live-voice minute packs, the one-time promotional pack, and monthly plans.

Prices, inclusive of applicable taxes, are shown in the app before you pay. Free lessons involve no payment and are outside this policy.

2. Live-voice minute packs

Minutes are prepaid credit. Once a minute has been consumed in a live-voice session, it cannot be refunded.

Unused minutes from a purchased pack can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. We refund the value of the unused minutes and deduct the value of any minutes already consumed from that pack.

3. One-time promotional pack

The one-time ₹20 pack of 10 live-voice minutes is a promotional offer, redeemable once per account. Because it is issued below cost as a trial, it is non-refundable.

This does not affect your rights where a payment fails or is charged in error. See section 5.

4. Monthly plans

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time from the SpeakMonk app. Cancellation stops all future billing.

Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the remainder of the current month. You will not be charged again after you cancel.

5. Failed, duplicate, or incorrect charges

If money is debited but the minutes or plan are not credited to your account, or if you are charged more than once for the same purchase, contact us and we will refund the affected amount in full.

Payments that fail at the gateway are usually reversed automatically by your bank. These typically settle within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@speakmonk.ai from the email address registered on the account, or include the registered mobile number. Please provide the order or payment reference and a short description of the issue.

We process approved refunds within 7 working days of receiving your request, and that window already includes the time we take to reply. The money goes back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer it can take up to 15 days from approval to show on your statement.

If we decline a request, we will explain the reason.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it. We will post any updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date.
